This helps you keep your hiring pipeline organized and ensures candidates have access to the right opportunities.

Written by Anna Johnson

When managing roles on your account, it’s important to understand how Active Jobs and Expired Jobs are defined.

Active jobs or Live jobs

Active Jobs or Live Jobs are roles that are currently open and accessible to candidates.

This means:

  • The job is live and visible (if published)

  • Public or private link, but active

  • Candidates can apply or be invited to interviews

  • Interviews linked to the job are still accessible

  • The job has not reached its expiry date

πŸ‘‰ In simple terms:
Active Jobs /Live Jobs = Roles that are open and currently hiring

Expired Jobs

Expired Jobs are roles that are no longer active because they have passed their set expiry date or have been closed or archived.

This means:

  • The job is no longer visible to candidates

  • New applications or interview attempts are not allowed

  • Any pending interviews may no longer be accessible (depending on settings)

  • The role is effectively closed for hiring

πŸ‘‰ In simple terms:
Expired Jobs = Roles that are closed and no longer accepting candidates
