1. What is the WorkMap Assessment?

The WorkMap Assessment is an in-platform skills evaluation tool in Interviewer.AI that helps you measure a candidate’s role-relevant skills and behavioral traits. It’s designed to complement AI Video Interviews and Resume Scoring by adding another layer of objective insights into a candidate’s capabilities.

2. How does the WorkMap Assessment work?

When setting up an interview, you can enable the WorkMap Assessment. Candidates will receive a set of structured questions—often using a Likert scale (e.g., strongly agree to strongly disagree)—that evaluate skills such as:

  • Communication and collaboration

  • Problem-solving

  • Adaptability

  • Technical proficiency

  • Leadership and decision-making (role-dependent)

The system uses candidate responses to generate a score that appears alongside their video interview and resume scores.

3. What skills are measured?

WorkMap Assessments can be customized based on the role, but common categories include:

  • Cognitive Skills – analytical thinking, reasoning

  • Soft Skills – teamwork, empathy, adaptability

  • Job-Specific Competencies – technical knowledge, industry-specific skills

  • Work Preferences – leadership style, work environment fit

4. Can I customize the questions?

Yes. You can. If you want to use any set of questions, you can share with us. This is available for Growth plans. Add your own custom questions to align with your company’s hiring criteria. You can also use your own assessment, instead of WorkMap Assessments.

5. How are results displayed?

Results are shown in the candidate’s profile as part of their overall AI-generated score. You’ll see:

  • WorkMap score percentage

  • Breakdown by skill category

6. How should I use WorkMap results in hiring decisions?

The WorkMap score is best used alongside:

  • Resume Scoring results

  • AI Video Interview analysis

  • Human recruiter feedback

This combination ensures a well-rounded evaluation that blends objective scoring with human judgment.

7. Does the WorkMap Assessment support multiple languages?

Currently, WorkMap questions are available only in English, but candidates can read and respond in supported languages for other interview components.

8. Do WorkMap Assessments use credits?

Yes. Any interview that includes a WorkMap Assessment consumes 1 interview credit per invited candidate, just like a standard AI Video Interview.

9. Where can I enable or disable WorkMap in an interview?

When creating or editing an interview:

  1. Scroll to the Assessment section.

  2. Toggle WorkMap Assessment ON or OFF.

10. Can I share WorkMap results with my hiring team or clients?

Yes. You can:

  • Share the candidate’s full profile (including WorkMap results) via a secure link

  • Download the assessment report as part of the candidate summary
