If you've already collected resumes through your ATS or simply want to streamline the candidate experience, you can choose to disable the resume upload step during the interview setup process in Interviewer.AI.
๐ Why Disable Resume Uploads?
Turning off the resume upload requirement can help you:
โ Simplify the candidate experience โ Less friction, faster application.
โโ Avoid duplication โ Especially if resumes are already collected via your ATS.
โโ Focus on interview performance โ Prioritize real-time assessment over paperwork.
โ
โ๏ธ How to Disable Resume Uploads
You can disable the resume requirement either while creating a new interview or editing an existing one.
A. When Creating a New Interview
Go to the Overview or Interviews page.
โClick +Create Interview (Overview page) or Create Job Interview (Interviews page).
โIn the interview setup form, scroll to the Resume Scoring section.
โFind the toggle labeled:
โ โIs resume scoring required when applicants apply?โ
โTurn OFF the toggle. (It will visually update to show itโs disabled.)
โ
B. When Editing an Existing Interview
Go to the Interviews page.
Locate the interview you'd like to edit.
Click the ellipsis (โฏ) menu next to the interview title.
Select Edit.
Scroll to the Resume Scoring section.
Toggle off:
โโIs resume scoring required when applicants apply?โ
โ
โ
๐ What Happens Next?
No Resume Required: Candidates wonโt be asked to upload a resume when applying to that interview.
Resume Scoring Disabled: Resume-based scoring will be skipped. No resume scores will appear for this interview.
โ
โ
โ ๏ธ Things to Keep in Mind
This setting is interview-specific. Youโll need to disable it individually for each interview you create.
This is especially useful if resumes are already stored in your ATS to avoid redundancy.
